Poem in Your Pocket Day With Another School

Last Thursday in FOCUS, we did a Skype with another school in Wisconsin called Kickapoo School.
Everybody had a poem in their pocket and they read their poems to us. I read a poem called My Teacher Ate My Homework. Everybody's poem was very interesting.
When I first found out that we were Skyping with another school, I felt excited and nervous at the same time.
It was my second time doing a Skype but I still felt nervous. I'm sure everybody else felt that way in my school and at Kickapoo School.
Ms. Melphy's poem was really funny. It was about a rock being a great pet. Skyping was a really interesting experience. I hope we do another one soon.
